To promote positive school/community relationships, and to extend and enrich educational programs by making available the knowledge and expertise of parents, business persons, civic organizations and retirees.

As a working parent, I was hesitant about getting involved with the Seahawk Music Boosters. However, what it brought me was time spent with my kids, participating in their high school experience, making lifelong friendships with other booster parents, and, as my youngest son says, “the care and support of my parents helped me get through even the toughest competitions.”
The purpose of the Seahawk Music Boosters is to support all aspects of the Ocean View High School music program. This includes everything from fundraising and set building to event hospitality. We have a single goal to help music students and staff in all ways possible.
I loved being an active booster because I got to support my daughter and her friends in doing what they loved. #okaymomiscoolnow.
I also cherish the friendships that developed with the other boosters. Years later we still get together regularly, but instead of moving equipment onto the field and feeding the kids, we sit and relax…and feed OURSELVES!
